Ever since Brexit we have found it impossible to resist making work based around how absolutely fucked this country feels to us right now. As a gallery that has worked a lot with artists from mainland Europe we felt Brexit acutely not just from a business perspective but also as a kind of bereavement. So we thought it would be fun to invite a perspective on all this from Patrick and Christian; two artists based in Munich. They have come up with this distressed and fucked up version of the Union flag. It's an attempt to encapsulate the prevailing view of our European cousins that our country is gripped by some collective, self destructive madness. This an edition of 47; one print for each year the UK was in the EU.
